REO Town Salute to Labor 2008

Unfortunately, the REO Town Salute to Labor has been cancelled this year.

We hope you’ll continue to visit your favorite REO Town restaurants and businesses, and we look forward to putting together an even better festival for 2009.

All you younger musicians interested in playing at this year’s event should check out the Elderly Instruments High School Battle of the Bands. The top prize is a $1000 Elderly gift certificate and a chance to play at the 2008 REO Town Salute to Labor. Visit their Myspace for details on how to enter.

The REO Town Salute to Labor is going to be better than ever this year.  We’re pairing with the UAW and the Lansing Labor Council to make the event bigger, better, and (best of all) free!  We’ll have the same great music you’ve come to expect, but we’ll be adding a BBQ cookoff and a wider variety of family friendly activities.  Mark your calendars…you won’t want to miss it!
